BECOME A SUNBEAM, AND HELP US SPREAD THE SUNSHINE

Approximately 235,000 families around the world lose a loved one to drowning every year, and yet it is PREVENTABLE. We aim to not only teach children the skills to survive should they find themselves in water, but also the basic safety education to prevent them getting into trouble in the first place.

Our wish is for a future without drowning. For us to reach that goal, we need to spread our sunshine far and wide. To do so, we need YOUR help! There are a number of ways you can get involved, wherever you are in the world.

Sponsor a child.

Learning to swim can reduce risk of drowning up to 88%. Sponsor a child's year of water safety education for just £100/ R2000. This would cover a child's swim pack, including towel, cap, costume, and workbook, transport to and from each swim class, pool hire and instructor fees for 26 survival swim lessons.

Corporate sponsorship.

With the right partnerships, we know we can reach many more children with this essential, life-preserving skill. Swim school partnership

Are you a qualified swim instructor? Why not become a sunshine partner and help us deliver our life saving education. You will receive training on our survival swim curriculum, including trauma informed care in the aquatic setting. Volunteer your time, we'll cover the rest!

Nutrition is a vital part of every child's development, that's why after every lesson, we ensure every child receives the fuel they need to return to school and continue their learning. Donate ingredients or make us a batch, we offer community hours for school children for every batch donate and delivered in Somerset West. R200/£10 would allow us to make 30 bars! Feeding an entire class for one lesson.

Challenging yourself in 2023? Running, swimming or biking your way through the year? Even better, grab your "crew" and make it a team effort! Why not raise money and awareness for drowning prevention while you train, and give a child the chance to survive.
