The Big Splash 2024

Can you swim?

Many people have never had the opportunity to learn.  We want to change that, with your help.

World Drowning Prevention Day falls on the 25th July each year, and we want to mark it with a BIG SPLASH across the globe.

Each year, 250,000 lives are lost to drowning, and yet, IT IS PREVENTABLE!  We know that learning to swim can reduce risk of drowning by up to 88%.

Let's honour lives lost to drowning by swimming a metre for each life lost, and raising funds to give others the opportunity to learn this essential life skill.

Last year, over 500,000 lives were honoured and remembered through an incredible effort from swimmers of all ages from across the globe.  This year we want to do even more.

Wherever you are in the world, set aside the week of Sunday 21st to Sunday 28th July to go the distance in the water.  Last year we honoured 2 years worth of lost lives, this year, lets make it a decade!  Let's honour those lives lost by giving others the chance to survive.
